Flexiband Abrasive Belt Machine

Hydrafeed supply a range of Abrasive Belt Machines to suit most deburring, finishing or metal removal applications. Suitable for any modern machine shop environment, our Abrasive Belt Machines can be supplied as a standalone product or mounted on peripheral equipment such as a dust extractor or pedestal.

 

Models available:

 

Flexiband No 1

Our introductory model, the Flexiband No 1 is ideal for deburring or polishing smaller components.

Flexiband No 2B

With a wider belt capacity, the Flexiband 2B is more robust. It’s ideal for both deburring and light metal removal operations.

Flexiband No 24HD

The heavy-duty Flexiband 24HD is supplied with a 50mm wide abrasive belt and a 3 phase, 2 hp motor. It is ideal for metal removal and more substantial deburring operations.

Flexiband No 44HD

The Flexiband 44HD is fitted with a 100mm wide abrasive belt so it’s ideal for larger components. Use it for metal removal and substantial deburring operations.

Features:

  • Deburring takes far less time using a Hydrafeed Flexiband than it does with conventional methods.
  • Adjust the angle of the Flexiband table to suit your application.

Optional Extras:

  • A standard-width abrasive belt is supplied with every machine, but you are able to purchase alternative width belts.
  • Different width belt platens are available for alternative width belts.
  • All Flexibands can be supplied mounted to a pedestal, useful if you have limited bench space.
  • The Flexiband can be mounted to a dust extraction unit to keep your environment clean.
  • You can easily remove the Flexiband table and fit a contact wheel, giving you the flexibility to debur internal diameters and machined components (contact wheels are not available for the No 44HD model).
  • Pack of 10 assorted grit belts.
