Suitable for fixed-head CNC turning centre, the Beta full-length magazine Barfeed has a standard bar diameter range from 8mm to 52mm.

Operators can use the touchscreen PLC to manage the Barfeed settings.

Features:

• The operator can enter information to run and control the signals between the Barfeed and the lathe using the touchscreen PLC. They can quickly change between bar diameters.
• Each guide channel set covers a wide range of bar diameters. Downtime is minimised as the guide channel can be easily and rapidly replaced. Interchangeable guide channel sets are required.
• The Beta is equipped with front steady block guides providing additional bar The increased stability also means reduced bar vibrations and a maintained cycle time.
• The standard bar storage magazine depth is 235mm.
• For remnant extraction, the Beta offers either rear extraction at the back or front ejection into the CNC turning centre.

Optional Extras:

• Front-mounted external steady block can be fitted to provide additional support for bars 20mm and under.
• The Beta can be equipped with dedicated steady blocks. This provides additional support for hexagon and square bars.
• Floor-mounted sliding rails providing movement of 600m in the Z-axis.
• For increased bar length capacity, the Beta can be provided to support bars 4.1m long.
